Good shade sail, easy setup

Is it worth it to get the waterproof one or just stick with the regular breathable HDPE for a backyard shade? Does it really make a big difference?

Depends where you live. If you get a lot of rain and want to sit under it, then waterproof is key. But if it's just for sun, the breathable HDPE is better for air flow.

I have the breathable one and love it for summer, but when it rains, forget about it. Everything underneath gets wet. Kinda wish I went waterproof sometimes.

Are their products actually UV protected or is that just marketing speak? I need something that won't degrade in the sun in Texas.

Mine's been up for two summers in Arizona and still looks good, no fading or cracking. Seems like the UV protection is legit.

The HDPE material they use is generally good for UV. I'm in Florida and my shade sail is holding up fine after a year, no noticeable sun damage.

For custom stuff, usually, you're kinda stuck if you mess up the measurements. Most places don't take returns on custom orders.
